Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another...

There are people who wonder why the friends and families of our POW-MIA’s and their supporters just don’t forget. The Vietnam war has been over for more than 20 years and World War II for half a century. We don’t forget because it’s a matter of faith and Patriotism to us. It is a matter of respect, community and family. Everyone who served or whose lives have been directly touched by war is a member of a family of which we are a part. And families take care of their own. It is as simple as that.

It is the Vietnam Veterans of America’s founding principle.
